The 2003-like Development Interface appears
With the Access 2003 IDE (Integrated Development Environment) you can view your Tables, Queries, Forms, Pages, Reports, Macros and Modules while working in Access 2007 and Access 2010, THE SAME WAY YOU DID IN EARLIER VERSIONS OF ACCESS.
Click on any Objects button to display Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports, Pages, Macros or Modules.
Access 2003 IDE allows you to easily import from other Access databases, Excel files, Text files, and make ODBC connections.
In addition, click here to import from Outlook, Sharepoint, HTML, dBASE, Paradox, Lotus, and XML.

Imagine what a relief it will be to get back to the old way of developing in Access. No more fighting with the Navigation Pane. Now you can concentrate on your work again!
As an Access developer myself, I've endeavored to create most of the common functionality that you will need in your daily development. Of course, not everything could be included, but the main tasks are there.
Note: Though Pages will be listed if they exist in a database, they aren't supported in Access 2007.
Right-click on any object to Open it, get into Design view, Rename it, Copy/Paste it, Delete it, or Export it to 10 different formats.
Toggle either the Navigation Pane or the Ribbon with just one click.
Change the grid font or background color
to suit your taste. Click the FYI button to review Access 2003 IDE features.
Think you'd like to have a more interesting view? Play around with your grid fonts and background color until you find something that suits you. You might be surprised the fun you'll have with these two features.
When a new object (table, query, form, etc) is added, the Object list updates itself to show that object. When an object is deleted, the Object list updates itself. When copying a table, its Primary Key (if it has one) and any other index are copied over as well. Double-clicking an object opens or runs that object. Pressing the Delete key deletes an object if one is selected. Ctrl+V will copy an object.
I hope you enjoy working with the Access 2003 IDE as much as I do. It's made a big difference in my productivity when using Access 2007, and I'm sure it will for you too.
Note: This Add-in works in both Access 2007 and 32-bit Access 2010; untested for Access 2013.
Here are the familiar buttons to Open an object, go into Design view, create a New object, or Delete one.
